Young People’s Plan

 

A wide range of programmes exists across Cambridgeshire to support the education, prevention and treatment needs of young people in relation to substance misuse. This work is overseen by the Young People Substance Misuse Commissioning Group.

There is an annual cycle now in place across England where a range of local partnerships complete Young People's Treatment Plans. These plans outline how the partnerships aim to commission and manage treatment services using central and local sources of funding. These form the basis for joint performance of treatment systems by the National Treatment Agency with the local partnerships to monitor progress against drug strategy priorities at local, regional and national level.
