Drinksense Training Group will be delivering training on a variety of substance misuse issues for staff working with young people in Cambridgeshire, in partnership with key drugs agencies. This work has been commissioned by the DAAT, and will run up until to March 2010.
The programme has been devised in response to a request for training in Drug and Alcohol Misuse for OCYPS partners across Cambridgeshire and consists of four modules (a variety of dates and venues are available across the county for each.)
The training is mapped to the Drug and Alcohol National Occupational Standards (DANOS) and participants will receive a certificate of attendance. Module One* is compulsory; once this is completed participants can .pick and choose. which modules they wish to attend.
An overview of the topics and learning outcomes are detailed in the flier. To secure your place, please follow the joining instructions detailed on the flier.
*If you have recently completed drug/alcohol training from Drinksense or Bridgegate please contact us as you may be exempt from Module One.
A further training programme will be devised to continue after this one has finished. It is the DAATs intention to provide training courses across the county that meets the training needs identified by a variety of staff in different teams.
