Training and Employment
Progress to work - delivered by the Shaw Trust is specifically designed to help people who have had or have a drug problem gain jobs or training. It supports people through treatment and into work and offers drug misusers employment advice and full access to Jobcentre Plus programmes. Referrals accepted from any source.
www.pelcombe.com - Pelcombe Training Limited. Referrals accepted through Jobcentre Plus. Criteria: 18-24yrs 6 months unemployment; 25+ yrs 18 months unemployment. Courses run from 1/2 day per week to 30 hours per week. Includes basic skills, administration, warehousing, forklift truck licence. Pay incentives may apply.

www.cambsiag.org.uk - Otherwise known as Next Step, this site provides free and impartial advice to all adults living and working in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough who need to find out about local jobs, training courses, funding, leisure activities and assistance for single parents. Nextstep promotes learning and work to all adults aged 20 and over.
