The Cambridgeshire Drug and Alcohol Action Team is a multi-agency partnership working to implement the
National Drug Strategy. The Cambridgeshire DAAT comprises senior staff from the main organisations in
the county involved in tackling drug related issues: County Council (including Education and Social
Services); NHS Primary Care Trusts; Police; Probation; District Councils; HM Prison Service;
representatives of local services.
The DAAT is the strategic body through which the local drug strategy is decided and actioned. Each year
an Annual Plan is produced, which sets out the county drug policy and targets for the year. This focuses
on areas set out in the Governments 'National Drug Strategy 2002'
(which can be viewed at

The following documents briefly describe continuing work and key developments planned for 2003/4.
