New payment arrangements for pharmacies from April 2012

From April 2012, INCLUSION will be responsible for payment of Supervised Consumption on Premises (SCOP) and Needle Exchange (NEX). Pharmacies parcitipating in Cambridgshire SCOP and NEX schemes should send invoices to:
Finance dept, Accounts payable,

Needle Exchange at Pharmacies

A pharmacy needle exchange currently operates in selected pharmacies in Cambridgeshire .

This service is free and confidential and does not require any personal details. Pharmacists are trained to work with injecting drug users.

Supervised Consumption at Pharmacies

A supervised administration of prescribed Methadone/ Suboxone / Buprenorphine service which is available to Cambridgeshire clients.
