These elearning resources are developed by Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) and freely available to all. They provide audio, video and interactive technology to assist in exploring parental substance misuse, its effects on children and parenting capacity and the implications for social work practitioners.
Hampshire DAAT, working with Jane Ward (WMC Limited) and Hampshire Learning Centre have developed a three part e-learning course to introduce you to basic substance awareness.
The Alcohol Identification and Brief Advice e-learning project (Alcohol IBA) helps professionals with identifying those individuals whose drinking might be impacting on their health and delivering simple, structured advice. It has been developed in partnership with the Department of Health's Alcohol Policy Team and e-Learning for Healthcare .
